The Chargers say the home opener against Jacksonville this Sunday will be blacked out. First time since November of 2004 against the New Orleans ending 48 straight sellouts. The NFL says that other games are in danger of being blacked out. One other for sure is the Raiders' game against the Rams.
The Chargers are also saying that their next home game is also in danger of being blacked out. With the economy like it is, I guess you can't blame people for not being able to afford to go to the games. For a couple to go to a game, you pretty much are looking to spend right around $250.
Well, we were planning on staying home and have a BBQ during the game. But the plan has just changed, going to the game and taking the BBQ with us, no missing the home opener. GO CHARGERS!!
