Holdout left tackle Marcus McNeill met with Chargers GM A.J. Smith on Wednesday. The Chargers threatened to place MCNeill on the roster exempt list if he doesn't sign his tender by Friday, this means that if he is placed on the roster exempt list that he would face a 3-game suspension when he signs.No one really knows what the outcome of the meeting was, but at least both sides are talking, that's an improvement.
